Album
Dark Joy
Dark Joy began as a morning run through Türkiye. Each day started the same. Apartment buildings. Corner stores. Neighborhood parks. Endless staircases. A mountain overlooking the city.
Eventually the places stopped being scenery. They became metaphors. Every ordinary landmark reflected something happening internally. Relationships. Family. Distance. Growth. Travel. Uncertainty.
The album explores the strange truth that difficult seasons often become our favorite memories. Not because they were easy. Because they changed us.
Tracks
01Blocks
The buildings were made from blocks. So were the invisible barriers that quietly formed between people trying to love one another.
02Trails
Running trails became reminders that life rarely moves at the pace we expect. Sometimes we’re leading. Sometimes we’re catching up.
03Stores
Every storefront invited curiosity. Meanwhile I kept collecting emotional inventory that needed clearing out.
04Parks
Places designed for stopping. Temporary peace in the middle of movement.
05Balconies
Spaces between inside and outside. Close enough to belong. Far enough to understand.
06Celebrations
Joy deserves practice. Not because it’s difficult. Because it’s easy to forget.
07Gates
Some gates lead somewhere. Others keep us where we’ve always been.
08Differences
The farther I traveled, the smaller our differences became.
09Floors
Relationships exist on different levels. Some support everything above them.
10Homes
Sometimes home is temporary. Sometimes it follows you.
11Stares
When you’re unfamiliar, every glance feels intentional. Sometimes awareness begins with believing everyone sees you.
12Summits
The mountain never changed. I did.
